Summer News Update

Here are a few news items from around the club during the summer break.

Training/trials for the new season start on Tuesday 3 July, meeting at 6.45 p.m. at the Belmont Ground. As previously reported, the first friendly match is scheduled for Saturday 14 July, when we entertain Tunbridge Wells at home. Rochester United have pulled out of the friendly arranged for Saturday 21 July, but there will still be a game on that date, as we now welcome ambitious Kent County League club Ashford FC to the Belmont Ground.

Cup Draws and League Fixtures
The FA Cup and FA Trophy early round draws will be released on Friday 6 July, with the fixtures for the Bostik League expected in mid-July.

Admission Prices and Season Tickets
Information regarding prices and season ticket applications will be published on this website shortly.

Ground Maintenance
Work continues at the ground in preparation for next season. In addition to pitch maintenance, the project to improve and install seats in the main stand has commenced and should be complete for the start of the new season. The home changing rooms are being given a makeover, including new seating and redecoration. A lot of work is also being done in the clubhouse to improve the venue for everyone who uses it on match days or for other events. Repairs, painting and concreting around the ground are also underway.

Thank you to all who have already helped or offered to come down to the ground throughout the summer months. There is activity at the ground on most days, but always on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings throughout the year and if anyone else would like to join us on one of those days to help in any way or maybe just have a cup of coffee and a chat, you will be welcomed.
