Janice Bushell, on behalf of Parkinson’s UK Canterbury & District Branch, said ‘please pass on our thanks to all at Whitstable Football Club for having the collection, as you are aware all donations are very gratefully received’.

Chairman Gary Johnson was only too pleased to offer the Clubs support and help the local branch of the charity and especially that of Malcolm adding ‘we are always pleased to be involved in community initiatives and especially pleased that we were able to support Malcolm who is a great example of those that suffer from Parkinsons but who always attends our home fixtures as well as many away ones that he can get too; its great of our fans to give something back’.
