Following the 4-1 FA Trophy win at Bedfont Sports, we next visit Brentwood Town in the First Round Qualifying on Saturday 27 October and there will again be a coach available for any supporters that would like to travel with us. The coach will leave the Belmont Ground car park at 11 am and the cost will be £10 for the return trip. Please let us know if you are interested by calling Joe on 07802 717840 or alternatively emailing email@example.com.
If the result at Brentwood is a draw after 90 minutes, the replay will be at the Belmont Ground on Wednesday 31 October. If the tie is settled on the day however, the scheduled Kent Senior Cup match against Tonbridge Angels will be played at home on that date.
The Velocity Trophy Second Round game at home to Greenwich Borough has now been arranged for Tuesday 6 November.
Whitstable are due to play a Bostik League fixture at Sittingbourne on Saturday 10 November. That is also the date of the FA Trophy Second Round Qualifying, so if either Whitstable or Sittingbourne, who play Wingate & Finchley, are still in that competition, the league game will have to be rearranged – most likely for later in November.
Finally there was a scheduled Bostik League fixture on Saturday 24 November at home to Thamesmead Town, subject to continuing involvement in the FA Trophy. Thamesmead however have sadly announced that they are going into creditors voluntary administration and folding with immediate effect, so their 3-0 win against Guernsey will be the last match for the club that was formed in 1969. There are more details on the Bostik League website:
