Hastings United Under 21 0 Whitstable Town Under 21  6

Ryman Under 21 League (South)

Monday 9th November 2013

Scorers: Sam Hallett 5, Jordan Wells.

Whitstable Town Under 21’s went to the Sussex Coast on a Monday night and came away with a very convincing six-nil win against Hastings United. The game could not have started better when after two minutes saw a good pass from Dan Keyte thet found Sam Hallett to score the first. Hastings were trying to play football  but were second best as Town were consistently being beaten to the ball. Town were superior with, the back four for Town snuffing out any attacks.

The second half continued in the same vein as the first with the visitors getting stronger,  with Jack Simon and Beau Taylor driving forward at will. Hallett went on to score another four goals , with Jordan Wells getting the sixth with five minutes to go. It was an absolutely dominant game , with Town’s fitness totally overrunning the Hastings team.

The Town management team describe a very good squad performance- with praise for Hallett who in fairness could have scored more. Wells was non- stop and the back four were superb with Keyte playing his first game at right back. Well done to all the squad and also welcome back to Josh Smith who returned from injury.
