Club News Update

A new chapter in the long history of Whitstable Town Football Club now begins following confirmation that the FA and the Bostik League have officially approved the transfer of membership from an unincorporated association or members club to a limited company. We are now known officially as Whitstable Town Football Club Limited, affiliated as Whitstable Town Football Club. To get this far has taken a lot of hard work over many hours, with the extensive list of documents and information required, so a big thank you to everyone who has helped with this over the last six months.

The club now moves forward under a new chairman, Steve Clayton, with other new officers also in place, alongside most of the previous committee. The Whitstable Town senior and junior football sections will now be run together for the benefit of the local football community, creating a pathway for young footballers of all ages. The successful Whitstable Town academy continues, with the reintroduction of a reserves team for the coming season, completing a structure that aims to provide the best possible support for the new first team manger Lloyd Blackman.

There is still much work to be done, with a number of plans to develop the club, but the first steps are now complete.
