On Saturday 6th May there will be a charity match and family fun day at the Belmont Ground. The gates open at 11.0, with the football match kicking off at 12.0. The match is between the Oyster Boys and Shorne FC. Whitstable Town manager Scott Porter has agreed to manage the Oyster Boys team, who are expected to feature a couple of guest players from Scott’s first team squad.
There are a number of other activities taking place, including a barbecue, bouncy castle and a raffle.The day has been organised to raise funds in memory of the fiancée of Dean, one of the WTFC supporters, who tragically died just before their wedding last year.
Admission for the day is £3 adult and £1 child with free parking at the ground. Please come along to support the event if you can.
