Whitstable manager Will Graham speaking after a disappointing first pre-season match to Thamesmead Town at The Belmont. “Very disappointed with the performance from the boys today, given that we had such a good month in the lead up to today, and quite simply this standard is not acceptable. It’s early days but we need to improve on the way we played today, all the lads, including the U18,s have all impressed in the lead up so I know we have the quality in the squad, but they need to show me it was a one off.”
