Tunbridge Wells v Crowborough Athletic

Match On Tonight

Following a pitch inspection early this afternoon, the SCEFL Challenge Cup quarter final match against Deal Town will go ahead tonight with a 7.45 p.m. kick off, with extra time and penalties if needed.

Pitch Inspection For Deal Game

After the snowfall of last week and the heavy rain on Sunday, the pitch at Whitstable was left very wet. There was still lying snow around the ground yesterday but the pitch is clear and was worked on to try to get it playable for the cup game this evening. A pitch inspection will take place between 1 and 2 p.m. and the result will be communicated once known.

Rochester Game Off

The league match at Rochester tomorrow (Saturday 3 March) has been postponed because of the snow, as have all other games in the SCEFL this weekend.

The next scheduled match for Whitstable is the rearranged cup tie against Deal Town at the Belmont on Tuesday evening. The ground is currently covered in snow and the surrounding areas are dangerously icy, but the temperature is forecast to recover gradually from tomorrow, so keep an eye on the website for updates.

Kent Senior Trophy Final Travel

As most people are aware, Whitstable Town are playing Sheppey United in the final of the Kent Reliance Senior Trophy on Sunday 8th April. The match kicks off at 2 p.m. at the Gallagher Stadium, the home of Maidstone United. The club are arranging transport for supporters who wish to travel by coach. The cost for the return journey will be £8 and the departure time will be 12 p.m.from the Belmont Ground car park entrance in Grimshill Road. If you are interested, please book your seat with Joe or Ron, or alternatively email Let us know as soon as possible, so that the arrangements can be finalised.

If you are planning to make your own way to the Gallagher Stadium, directions can be obtained, as usual, by clicking the relevant link on the fixture on this website. You can also find details about travel to the ground on the Maidstone United Website here: Directions to Gallagher Stadium. Please note that car parking at the stadium is extremely limited. If you are thinking of travelling by train, there are scheduled engineering works between Rainham and Rochester on the day of the final.

There is likely to be a large crowd at the game, so it would be nice to see as many Whitstable fans as possible in the ground to support the team. If you would like any further information, please get in touch.
