Healey and Collado Sign

Scott Porter has signs Jamie Collado

Scott Porter has signed another ex Hythe Town player, midfielder Jamie Collado to strengthen the squad.

Jack Healey who has been signed with the Club since pre season has comeback after a successful spell with Ashford Town.

After some consideration Ian Cox has decided to step down as 1st team Manager, he felt he could do no more after 10 losses from 13 games. The Club has accepted his decision considering the recent poor run of performances and wish him all the best for the future.

The Chairman and Committee feel the Club is a sleeping giant and will continue to implement the new football structure which will allow us to make the right appointment in due course.
Until that decision has been made, Colin Patching and Bob Reardon will take up the reigns and steer the 1st team in a positive direction.

Statement from New Chairman

Press Statement by Adam Lopez Lightowler:

It is a great honour to confirm my appointment as Chairman of Whitstable Town FC.

Despite this being a very difficult time in the clubs history given where we are within the league we aim to create a new era for the Club going forward.

Together with the incredibly loyal supporters, followers and dedicated committee members of WTFC our objective is to implement a new football development structure from the grass roots up to ensure the long term sustainability of the club and make Whitstable Town FC a key hub of the community.

With 11 games left of the season we ask all of our Oystermen and Oysterwomen to come and continue supporting us in our battle to stay in the Ryman League starting this Saturday 27th February at home against Faversham Town.
