HEARD AND GRAY LEAVE THE TOWN

Folkestone Invicta have signed fans favourite and midfield dynamo Scott Heard, who may make his debut at the Fullicks Stadium this Saturday when Invicta host Guernsey FC in an early kick off.

Having rejected an earlier offer, Scott made it known that he wanted a change from The Belmont especially after the two clubs met last week; it was with heavy heart’s that the ‘Board’ accepted a further increased offer from Folkestone Invicta.

Scott joined Whitstable as a Youth player before making his First Team debut at the young age of 16 since when he has become a regular and almost the first on the team sheet most weeks having made 252 First Team appearances; more recently Scott has had Trials at Chesterfield, Gillingham and Maidstone United.

Sadly, his last appearance for the Oysters was in last Saturday’s home reverse in which Scott was substituted.

Scott, a local boy, will be missed by the Chairman, ‘Board’ & most of all by the long term and loyal supporters; we wish Scott well.

Also departing the Club this week was Ollie Gray whom has joined up with his former managers at Ramsgate.
