Travis Jackson slots home second

Whitstable Town Under 21s 3 Herne Bay Under 21s 0

Ryman Under 21 League (South)

Thursday 12th November 2015

Three first half goals were enough to give the Under 21s a three-nil win at home to Herne Bay on Thursday evening. It was a case of Whitstable taking their chances as Travis Jackson gave them the lead when he lobbed the ball over Bay keeper Harry Barrow in to the net. The second came three minutes before half time when Jackson was again on the scoresheet as he broke in from the left to slot the ball past Barrow. On the stroke of half time the game was sealed when Reed Wilson charged into the area to place his shot into the back of the net.

The second half did not live up to the first as the visitors weren’t able to get any shots on target to test Harry Brooks and Town held on for a comfortable win.
