Fleet Town 3 v Whitstable Town 0: Fleet  turn Town over...

Manager Mark Munday was happy with the start his team made, taking the game to the home side while playing up the steeply sloping pitch. But things turned after half an hour Fleet scoring from a neat flickled header, ten  minutes later they made it two nil after more good football. In the second half Fleet put the game beyond Whitstable scoring a third as the visitors pushed foreward to try to get a result.

Three nil was a fair reflection of the game, Whitstable were never the same side after skipper Sam Denly was crocked with a tackle that left the mid-fielderr limping until subbed  twenty minutes into the scond half.
