THE LIGHTS GO OUT AT THE BELMONT

Whitstable Town 0 Bromley 1

Kent Senior Cup 2nd Round

Tuesday 24th November 2015

Match abandoned after 18 minutes due to floodlight failure.

Whitstable Town’s Kent Senior Cup tie at home was abandoned after eighteen minutes on Tuesday evening due to floodlight failure.

Town who were playing in front of new managers Ian Cox and Wayne Wilson soon found themselves one behind as a neatly taken goal by Pierre Joseph –Dubois who came from the right to place the ball into the corner of the net. Whitstable reacted well and were on the attack as Sam Bewick blasted a shot just over the bar on ten minutes. One more opportunity for Reiss Crimmen who sent a shot wide after sixteen minutes before the lights put paid to the rest of the action for the evening.

We now await the details of when the fixture will be played.

Team Eason, Edwards, Crimmen, Algar, Punton, Smith, Conlon, Bewick, Mickelborough, Hurcomb, Jackson.
