Wednesday 28th March 2007 : 13.20 The firewall at the Data Center has malfunctioned and has caused some server issues. At present email is down and some clients will be unable to access their control panel. The Data Center is having some network issues. It seems some of the ports of the server including smtp got blocked at the DC's hardware firewall. We have contacted DC regarding this and they are working to resolve the issues. Update: 18:27 Engineers are still working on the problem. We're assured that services should be back to normal soon. Update: 19:04 Websites and emails should all be working again. Apologies for the downtime. We are speaking with our supplier to ensure that procedures are put in place to prevent this from happening again. |
