PULMAN LEAVES TO RETURN TO RAMSGATE

Justin Luchford announces :- I can confirm this morning that Ian Pulman has agreed terms to go back to Ramsgate. Although the official approach came in last Friday time, I know that conversations have been ongoing for a week or two. I also know that Ramsgate have approached at least one more of my players as well as Dan Wisker. But that’s football and I don’t want to get caught up in who is right and who is wrong, we will just make sure that we do the right things and worry about our club not others. I only want players here that want to be here. I don’t anticipate anyone else leaving the club and I am very happy with our current squad. I may look to add, but only when I believe it will improve the squad.

What it does do is highlight the fact that we are not a money making machine that goes beyond our means. We have to meet the clubs philosophy of not spending beyond our means and we will continue to do that. We are not in a position to compete with some of the other clubs who have more resources than us Im afraid. However, as I said at the weekend, we were excellent on Saturday if we carry that form on we will turn the corner quickly and rise up that table.

The squad is starting to get a bit of togetherness now and it is showing in training. Last night was another good session, we will train again tomorrow and have the weekend off before we go into a game pretty much every 4/5 days for a few weeks.

Next up is Horsham which will be tough and then you have the chance to come and grill me and Richard on the Thursday night (13th September 2012)  ! Look forward to seeing you all soon
