Herne Bay visit
the Belmont on Tuesday evening 7-45 for the first of an annual match between the two sides at the Belmont to contest the Bruce Smith Shield, K.O. 7.45.
This will be an annual event with next years game being held at Winch's Field. With the agreement of both chairman their will be penalties if the scores are level after 90 minutes: |

Whitstable Town
Reserves 1 v 1 Herne Bay Reserves: Injuries to players from both sides
cast a cloud over what was otherwise an entertaining
game, both requiring hospital treatment. Neither injury caused by foul
play, the Herne Bay’s Rob Lawrence was kept in hospital overnight after it was confirmed
he suffered a broken arm and two breaks to his hand, Whitstable’s Dean Morley
is recovering from a head wound.
