Striker Danny Williams has agreed to re-join Whitstable Town from local rivals Herne Bay. He has previously made 26 appearances for Whitstable during a couple of spells, most recently during the 2012-13 season when Nicky Southall was the manager. He became an established Ryman League South player for Herne Bay under recently departed manager Sam Denly and now returns to the Belmont for next season.
Whitstable manager Scott Porter commented: “Danny Williams is another great signing from the league above and will bring goals, pace and quality to the team at Whitstable. I am very happy that he has agreed to join us, as a number of Ryman League clubs were interested in him. It again shows the level of player that I want to bring to this club.”
