On hearing the other
results after his sides 3-1 home win against Worthing: “This just confirms what a
massive result today’s victory was, I am delighted with the points, just as I am
that we have moved a bit up the table." said a
delighted: Marc Seager
Whitstable's manager Seager added: "A quick glance at where we are in the
league and you can see that there just five points between ourselves and
Leatherhead who are currently in 14th position, so from mid table to
the bottom four it’s very tight. We have some very tough games ahead in the next
week, away Tuesday to Burgess Hill, next Saturday to Dulwich Hamlet. Then first
game in March, it’s Cray at the Belmont, all very tough games against well established
Ryman league sides, it will be hard for us but we are gaining in confidence with
every game at this level. The lads are buzzing after the way we have played
these last couple of weeks, we can’t wait for the next game.”
