Unbeaten Maidstone United say they will not take this Saturday?s league clash with basement club Greenwich Borough lightly as they look to apply pressure at the top of the table.  Speaking to the Kentish Saturday Observer, Stones boss Lloyd Hume says there will be no repeat of the lack of concentration he blames nearly cost them dear when they drew 1-1 at the Belmont last month.  Hume said: ?They were left with little doubt after that game of what I expected of them at all times, and hopefully they will not make that same mistake again.  ?I?m under no illusions, we have to play well against Greenwich Borough if we want to get the three points.?Greenwich Borough have yet to win a game this season in the Kentish Observer Football League.

Beckenham v Herne Bay....

Rose set for Bay battle...  Beckenham Town boss Gavin Rose says he feels ?no pressure whatsoever? as he goes into this Saturday?s game against last season?s runners-up Herne Bay.  Rose has led his men to a remarkable seven straight wins at the start of the Kentish Observer Football League and not conceded a league goal for 555 minutes. 

The last time their defences were breached was on the opening day of the season when the Oystermen put two past them but still finished on the wrong end of 6-2 scoreline. In this weekend?s Kentish Saturday Observer, Rose says: ?I feel absolutely no pressure whatsoever; the whole club is enjoying and appreciating the way in which we are playing. I am conscious of the fact, and I?ve told the players, that things will become more difficult as the winter goes on.
