Mark Wyver reports...Tonbridge moved out of the Ryman Premier Division relegation zone after a 4-0 win at basement side Leyton. Tommy Warrilow's men scored through Tommy Tyne (2 1pen), Fraser Logan and John Beales.
Folkestone failed to win their fifth consecutive home game as they went down to a 3-0 defeat to Carshalton Athletic. Dover returned to winning ways in Ryman Division One South after beating Kingstonian 3-0 at Crabble. The Kent side who moved level on points with Tooting & Mitcham United at the top had Lee Browning, James Rogers and Matt Fish on the scoresheet. Dartford crashed out of the Isthmian League Cup after going down 3-0 at Heybridge Swifts. The Darts cause wasen't helped by the fact they conced a goal in the first minute of the game. Margate are through tho the Semi Finals of the John Ullman Kent Senior Cup after overcoming Chatham 2-1 at Hartsdown Park. Ryan Martin and Jake Eastwood with a late headed winner scored for the home side with Shane Suter replying. Cray are also through after seeing off the challenge of Whitstable 3-0 at Hayes Lane. Young Tom Whitnall on his full debut scored twice with Steve Aris also finding the net. Sevenoaks had a superb 2-0 win at Greenwich Borough in the Kent Premier League. A goal either side of half time by big striker Andy Constable secured the three points for the West Kent outfit. Beckenham completed the Kent Premier League Cup Group stages with a 4-0 home win over Hythe. Theo Fairweather-Johnson (2), Ryan Pacey and Jammott Durrant scored in a game which had already seen both sides through to the Quarter Finals |
