The week ahead in the Kentish Observer Premier league.

Herne Bay slip up against Deal, losing 0-1 on Tuesday night after their shock away win at the weekend beating runaway leaders Beckenham 1-3. Whitstable Town are away at Erith on Saturday (13.00 pm) who are currently 13th. Disappointed not to be at Lordswood tonight Town will be looking to improve their current run of 4 games unbeaten and remain in touch with the league front-runners.

Choice games for the groundhoppers will be Beckenham Town v Erith & Belvedere (14.00 pm), that's 1st v 4th (see above) and 5th placed Tunbridge Wells play 2nd place Thamesmead Town (12.00 pm). E & B will hope to keep Beckenham on the hop after their surprising loss at Herne Bay last weekend. The stones will be hoping to carry on their own run, unbeaten in the league this season, they entertain last placed Greenwich Borough (13.00 pm). The remaining fixture on Saturday is Sevenoaks v Hythe as 14th and 15th places look to kick start their disappointing seasons (15.00 pm). Deal Town and Herne Bay have more Tuesday night fixtures next week (11th Oct.) as they play Lordswood and Slade Green respectively.
