5/1/08 Reserves game at Erith & Belvedere is OFF due to a power failure at the Danson Youth Centre Young defender Liam Quinn has signed for Whitstable from Dover Athletic after a successful loan spell with Town just before Christmas. Seager describes the young player whose football career began at Whitstable as a youth team player before signing for Dover, as “The start of building for the future of Whitstable Town.” Seager added: “I was gutted when Liam was recalled by Dover I just felt we were starting to look a bit more solid at the back, this is great news as Liam is well liked by all the lads at the club, a lot of them played in the same youth side so he’s is no stranger to us and is a good influence in and around the dressing room. He told me he was delighted to be back at Whitstable and always had a feeling something like this would happen.” |
