Ebbsfleet left it late to earn three points from
their Blue Square Premier game at Stafford Rangers. An injury time cross from
Luke Moore was converted by John Akinde to give the Fleet a 1-0 win. Bromley
went down to a 2-1 home defeat to Fisher Athetic in Blue Square South with Danny
Hockton scoring a late consolation. Welling had Ellis Remy and Neil Smith on the
scoresheet as they drew 2-2 with Thurrock at Park View Road.
Ramsgate won the Ryman Premier Division Kent derby
with Folkestone 2-1. Warren Schulz and Danny Dolton scored for Jimmy Ward's side
while Dan Tanner put through his own net for the losers. Tonbridge bounced back
from a heavy home defeat to win 2-0 at Hastings United with John Westcott and
Anthony Storey on target. James Peacock was on target for Maidstone as they lost
2-1 at Carshalton Athletic while Margate lost 1-0 at Horsham.
Dover's lead at the top of Ryman Division One South
is down to three points after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Whitstable at
Crabble. The visitors struck first through a Matt Bourne own goal before Andy
Hessenthaler levelled for the home side. Cray are third after a late own goal
secured them a 1-1 draw at Dulwich Hamlet. A late Hicham Akhazzan
goal earned Sitttingbourne a 1-1 draw with Kent rivals Ashford who had gone
ahead through Mark Lovell against his former side.Chatham took a third minute
lead through Mark Brooks only for visiting Chipstead to hit back for a 2-1
win.
Dartford threw away a two goal lead given to them
by a Eddie McClements after 17 and 28 minutes in their Ryman Division One
North game as home side Aveley hit back to force a 2-2 draw.
VCD remain four points clear at the top of the Kent
League after goals from Kevin Spriggs (2), Leroy Huggins and Ben Mitchell saw
them overcome Herne Bay 4-2 for whom Aaron Firth (Pen) and Ben Brown scored. A
goal five minutes from time by Pedro Knight saw Thamesmead beat Beckenham 1-0
while Steve O'Keefe who was later sent off did likewise for Sevenoaks at
Faversham. Hythe had Michael Smissen (2), Jason Brazier, David Cook and
Simon Rainbow on target as they beat Sporting Bengal 5-0 at Reachfields. Peter
Smith scored four times along with a late effort from Lewis Ambrose as Greenwich
Borough won 5-1 at Tunbridge Wells who had gone ahead through Barry Gardner.
Ross Cable and Mahama Cho scored for Erith in their 2-0 victory at home to Deal.
Lordswood went ahead though Lee Farrell only for Raphael Akala to equalise for
Slade Green in a 1-1 draw. Mutt Knuckey and Adrian Deane were the respective
scorers as Croydon drew 1-1 with Erith &
Belvedere.
