Striker John Neal who has proved a popular
player in his short time at the clubhas accepted an offer from Walton &
Hersham and decided to leave Whitstable and informed manager Marc Seager this evening.
Manager Marc Seager was understandably
upset to loose Neal, telling the website: “John is a managers dream as a player,
he is never late, never misses training and a pleasure to have around the club.
I wish him well and he goes with our blessing, he has done everything in the
right way as you would expect of John but he was made a very attractive offer
that he found impossible to turn down. It’s a blow but we move on; I have every
confidence that the players at the club are good enough to compete in the Ryman but
like every manager I’m always looking for players to improve the side.”
