Ramsgate who welcomed new loan signing Lawrence Ball in part of the deal which sees striker Shaun Welford join Dover saw off the challenge of Hastings United 4-1 at Southwood. Jimmy Ward's side netted through Nick Davis, Steffan Ball, Andy Hadden and Stuart King. Tonbridge who dispensed of the services of manager Tony Dolby after their FA Cup exit at Ware went down 2-1 at AFC Hornchurch with the prolific Jon Main again on target for The Angels. Dover continued their push for promotion from Ryman Division One South with a 5-2 win over Metropolitan Police. Frannie Collin (2), Andy Hessenthaler, Jimmy Dryden and Lee Browning were the scorers for the East Kent side. Sittingbourne won their local derby by a 3-1 margin at Chatham. Bradley Spice (2) and James Gregory scored for Steve Lovell's side while Gavin Schulz replied for the home side. Ashford ran out 3-1 winners over Whitstable with Rob Denness, Jimmy Bottle and Walid Matata scoring for the home side with John Akinde netting a consolation for The Oystermen. Cray went down to a 3-2 home defeat at the hands of leaders Tooting & Mitcham United. Dartford continued their impressive Ryman Division One North form with a 2-1 win victory at Tilbury. Former Chatham and Tonbridge striker Brendan Cass scored both goals for The Darts. VCD are the new leaders of Kent League Cup Group A after goals from Darren Thomson and Ashley Proberts secured a 2-0 win over Herne Bay. Greenwich Borough were also 2-0 winners in this group thanks to two goals from Badar Mohammed which helped them defeat Sevenoaks.. Erith came from 2-0 down to win their Group C clash at Croydon. The home side had led through Neil John and Sam Ayvih before Mark Hammond (2) and Marcus Cassius saw Mark Tompkins side claim the three points with a 3-2 win. |
