Mark Wyver looks at the weekends Kent Fottball...After a delayed kick off due to traffic problems,  Ebbsfleet defeated Kidderminster Harriers 5-4 in their Blue Square Premier Division fixture at Stonebridge Road. The home side had Chukki Eribenne (2), Mark DeBolla (2) and Luke Coleman on the scoresheet.
In the Blue Square South,  Bromley beat Bishops Stortford 3-1 at Hayes Lane with Nic McDonnell, Danny Hockton and Sam Wood scoring the goals. Welling were beaten 2-1 at home by Hayes & Yeading with Omari Coleman scoring for the losers.
 
A goal by Mark Saunders saw Folkestone draw their FA Cup First Round Qualifying tie with Horsham YMCA. Maidstone had Andy Martin, Lyndon Rowland and Mo Takaloo in scoring form as they beat Erith & Belvedere 3-0. Margate were also 3-0 winners at Chatham thanks to goals from Charley Side, Mark Watson and Justin Skinner. A Steffan Ball goal saw Ramsgate win 1-0 at Hastings United. Tonbridge earnt a replay after drawing 1-1 at Croydon Athletic. A first goal for Andy Hessenthaler and a Matt Carruthers effort saw Dover win 2-0 at Burgess Hill Town while near neighbours Deal drew 2-2 at Dulwich Hamlet thanks to goals from Dave Bathgate and Lee Jones. Dartford took the lead through Jay May at home to Sittingbourne only for Mitchell Sherwood to equalise late on and force a 1-1 draw. An 88th minute goal from Rhys Lawson saw Herne Bay beat Sevenoaks 1-0 while Micky Collins did likewise for Erith away to Horley Town. Michael Smissen (2) and Ian Hayes secured Hythe a place in the next round after they beat Littlehampton Town 3-0 at Reachfields. Despite goals from Rikki Cable and Richard Dimmock Thamesmead were beaten 4-2 at home by Carshalton Athletic. Croydon held Worthing to a 0-0 draw away from home.
 
Despite playing against ten men for 65 minutes and taking the lead through Jimmy Bottle home side Ashford lost their Ryman Division One South fixture 2-1 against Tooting & Mitcham United.
 
The new leaders of the Kent League are Beckenham despite them being held to a 1-1 draw at Tunbridge Wells. Mike Lord gave the home side an early lead with Terry Khan equalising three minutes from time. VCD returned from Holmesdale with a 4-1 win despite going a goal down after Charlie Hope netted. The Vickers hit back however through Richard Sinden (2), Mark Greatorex and Kevin Spriggs. A last minute goal from Badar Mohammed saw Greenwich Borough defeat Slade Green 1-0. A late goal by Ricky Freeman saw Faversham gain their first point of the season as they drew 1-1 at Sporting Bengal.
