Injuries damped good performance: |

Picture Sam Denley: The sight of striker Andy Constable stretcherd
off late in the game with a twisted ankle and Sam Denley carried off in the
first half with a ‘stud in the foot’ injury added to manager Marc Seager’s
injury woes
But Seager was far from down hearted concentrating instead on his sides
growing confidence after their third Ryman League game. “Today was much better,
there were times when we controlled the game and if we had shown more clinical finishing
in front of goal we could easily have been two up before they scored. Yes, the
injuries are a concern and at this level the games come thick and fast so there
is little time for the players to rest a knock or two. With Sam and Andy
sidelined along with the other four or five out with injuries we just have to
get on with it. We are learning fast
and the league holds no fears for us, we can see these sides are beatable, and
we shall treat each match as it comes we are looking forward to Dover tomorrow
and to be honest the lads can’t wait.” match report to follow:
