After scoring in friday's 2-1 home defeat by a Gillingham X1, striker Leigh Bremner penned a one year contract with Folkestone along with former Gillingham defender Roland Edge.
Ebbsfleet were beaten 3-0 at Eastbourne Borough while Bromley wenrt down 3-2 at Carshalton Athletic. Newly promoted Whitstable won the Kent League Challenge Shield after defeating Thamesmead 3-2 at Belmont Road. The home side scored through Stuart King, Tony Gallagher (OG) and Sam Denly while Rikki Cable scored twice for the losers. Welling held a strong Gillingham side to a 2-2 draw at Park View Road. Gills defender Efe Sodje who put through his own goal and Lloyd Blackman were the Wings marksmen, A goal from Craig Wilkins helped Maidstone to a 1-0 win at VCD. Margate and Dover drew 1-1 at Hartsdown Park with Rob Haworth and Frannie Collin (Pen) the respective scorers. Ramsgate had Shaun Welford on target in their 1-1 draw with Cray for whom Michael Power scored from the penalty spot. James Donovan scored for Tonbridge in their 2-1 home defeat against Fleet Town. Goals by Danny Lye and Rob Gillman helped Ashford to a 2-1 win over Tilbury. Chatham had Gavin Schulz, Darren Smith and Steve Best in scoring form as they beat Hertford Town 3-1 at Maidstone Road. A hat-trick from Mitchell Sherwood and a strike from Lee Browning saw Sittingbourne defeat Aveley 4-0. Dartford drew 1-1 on their trip to play Bournemouth Poppies.
 
Faversham defeated the reformed Canterbury 2-0 at Salters Lane. On target for Paul Copley's side were Ian Pullman from the penalty spot and Wes Hammond. Herne Bay had Dave Soutan and Ryan Martin to thanks as their goals gave them a 2-0 win at British Energy Kent County League Premier Division side Snodland. Marlon Button scored his first goal in Erith & Belvedere's colours as his strike earned them a 1-1 draw at Warlingham. Hythe continued their fine Pre season form after winning 6-2 at home to Sidley United. Slade Green fought out a 0-0 draw with a Chatham X1 at The Small Glen,
