Seager signs Danny Tipple and Sam Denly PDF Print E-mail
WTFC manager Marc Seager spoke to the website.."After a couple of very enjoyable first days back at pre season I am very pleased to announce that Herne Bay midfielder Sam Denly and Greenwich Borough full back Danny Tipple have both agreed to join us at The Belmont as we look forward to our new adventure in the Ryman League.

Last season’s achievements, although very enjoyable and exciting, are now for the memory banks, and I believe it is now very important that we don’t get caught up in the euphoria of last season’s success, but we now move on and concentrate on the season ahead.

Although we as a club enjoyed great success last season, as a manager you never stop looking to improve your team no matter how good or how successful you are, and I believe the signing’s of Sam Denly and Danny Tipple followed by another one or two will confirm the ambitions of this football club as we look forward to our 1st season as a Ryman League club.

Sam is a player that I have always respected and rated very highly and after a undeniable loyalty shown to local rivals Herne Bay over the past couple of season’s, I am so pleased that he has got the ambition to play at a higher level and pleased that he see’s his future here with us at The Belmont.

Danny is another player that was high on my wanted list after his impressive displays against us last season for Greenwich Borough. Although not the biggest height wise, I didn’t see too many bigger hearts than Danny’s last season and on top of that the lad is a great footballer who will give us a lot of pace down the left hand side.

I honestly can’t wait to see Sam and Danny wearing the red of Whitstable Town and wish them both all the best for the forthcoming future because I’m sure, along with everyone else at the club, they are both looking forward to the excitement of Ryman League football."
