The previous year he was part of the squad under Lloyd Hume and Walker that won promotion to the Ryman League. It’s a measure of his experience that he was part of the Whitstable Town squad, which did the same last season.” Strouts has had a remarkable career in football, Seager adding: “Jimmy is a winner and we were lucky at Whitstable that we were able to call on his experience and professionalism at a time when we needed it. I know that Jimmy will do a good job for Maidstone in Walker’s absence and I wish Jimmy all the best and Alan a speedy recovery.” |
