Gravesend & Northfleet completed their Nationwide Conference season in seventh place after going down to champions Dagenham & Redbridge. The Kent sides goal came from Ross Smith in the 33rd minute. Bromley had Nic McDonnell and Gareth Williams on target as they won 2-0 at Boreham Wood and a place in the Ryman Premier Division play offs. A 60th minute goal from Shaun Welford earned Ramsgate a 1-0 win over Walton & Hersham while neighbours Margate lost 1-0 at Hendon. Folkestone avoided relegation after James Everitt scored in a 1-1 draw at Carshalton Athletic. Despite John Main scoring a hat-trick his side Tonbridge went down 4-3 at Horsham. Maidstone are Ryman Division One champions after two goals from Ryan Royston secured a 2-1 win at Walton Casuals. Dover secured their play off place after goals from Jon Wallis(2), Byron Walker, Bradley Spice and a visiting defender saw them defeat Horsham YMCA 5-0. Brendan Cass(2) and Ryan Hayes scored in Dartford's 4-3 defeat at Metropolitan Police. Chatham had Gavin Schulz, Shaune Suter and Mark Brooks on the scoresheet as they defeated Molesey 3-1. Two goals from Michael Power, David Hall and a Jamie Wood penalty helped Cray to a 4-3 win over Dulwich Hamlet. Sittingbourne drew 0-0 with Fleet Town and Ashford were beaten 1-0 at home by Tooting & Mitcham United. Whitstable completed their Kent League title winning season with a 2-2 draw at Thamesmead. Ricki Cable and Sam Thomas scored for the home side with Andy Constable netting twice for the visitors. A hat-trick from Leroy Huggins saw VCD secure runners up spot as they beat Deal 3-1. The losers had goalkeeper Danny Twyman on the scoresheet from the penalty spot. A late Neil John goal saw Croydon win 1-0 at Hythe while Chris Hubbard, Danny Tipple and Meshach Nugent scored in Greenwich Borough's 3-1 home win over Erith & Belvedere for whom Ashley Dunkley scored. Rhys Lawson and Simon Brown scored in Herne Bay's 2-0 win over Sevenoaks while Faversham's Dave Read scored twice in his sides 2-1 win over Slade Green who saw Ricky Bennett score a last minute consolation. Ashley Carew(3) and Wade Falana scored as Beckenham came from a goal down to beat Lordswood 4-1. Tunbridge Wells had Teddy Ansell and Joe Fuller to thank for their 2-1 win over Erith who netted through Paul Votier. |
