Whitstable Town, the Kent Football League Premier Division League leaders, extended their advantage at the top to nine points when they defeated the bottom side, Sporting Bengal United by six goals to one at the Belmont, their penultimate home League game.

Stuart King, the League's leading scorer, netted the first from the penalty spot on eight minutes, he then added a second just before the break. In the second period, Michael Lane added a third before King went on to complete his hat-trick. John Akinde scored the 'Oystermen's' fifth and King added his fourth with six minutes remaining. Matthew Wheeler then netted a late consolation for the visitors. VCD Athletic missed out on the chance to go second in the table as they were held to a goalless draw at the improving Sevenoaks Town. At Salters Lane, Faversham Town won for the first time in seven outings as they beat Erith & Belvedere by two goals to nil, both scored by Ian Pullman. His first came midway through the first period and his second, a penalty, came shortly after the half time break. Hythe Town and Greenwich Borough shared the points in a 1-1 draw at Reachfields with Will Dunlop netting for the home side before Meshach Nugent equalised just before the break. In Division One Bromley missed the chance to second as they were beaten at home by Maidstone United, the score three nil.
