Town 1: The Belmont 10th March: 2207: “Even
without six first team players I think we easily did enough and deserved the
draw. If we’d have put our chances away early on then we would have won the
game quite comfortably." Whitstable manager Marc Seager said after the game.
Fair play to them they were up for the game today, with
a new man in charge and all the Faversham players trying to impress, given the
side I was able to put out today I am delighted we are in the second week in
March still unbeaten.” Seager added “I
was disappointed the ref chose to yellow card Sam Prett after his goal
celebrations, the Faversham players did the same yet no yellow card was shown
then. Still we showed great strength of character to hang in there; we scored
in the equalizer 94th minute and broke a few Faversham hearts.”
