  AUDIO: Whitstable defender Josh Maine who has stepped up from the reserves and played a big part in Whitstable’s season so far and aims to be part of Marc Seager’s plans for the future. “I know I have let Marc and myself down by my actions,” the big defender told the website at a resent game whilst he is serving a ban for an off the ball incident while recovering from injury with the reserves. “It’s in the past now, I have apologised to Marc and the rest of the lads I know that Marc showed great faith in me after I had a really good pre-season and I am grateful for the chance he gave me, my aim now is to get my head down, and really work hard to get back into the side and repay him by my performances on the pitch.”
