Kent Fooball by Mark Wyver: A first goal of the season from Stacy Long and a late strike from substitute Onome Sodje saw Gravesend & Northfleet defeat Kidderminster Harriers 2-1 away from home in the Nationwide Conference. The result leaves Liam Daish's side in fourth place and on course for a play off place.An equalizer from Steve Harper earned Welling a 1-1 draw at Bognor Regis Town in Conference South. The Wings remain in fifth spot in the table.
 
Bromley are a point clear at the top of the Ryman Premier Divsion after beating Hampton & Richmond Borough 3-2 at Hayes Lane. Top scorer Nic McDonnell scored twice and Gareth Williams hit a late winner for the Kent side. Margate held AFC Wimbledon to a 0-0 draw while a first minute goal from Ray Powell saw Tonbridge defeat Harrow Borough 1-0. Folkestone drew 0-0 with Slough Town at Cheriton Road.
 
The Ryman Division One Kent derby saw league leaders Maidstone defeat Dartford 4-1 at Bourne Park. The home side scored through Lyndon Rowland(2), Mo Takaloo and Simon Austin. The Darts consolation came from Brendam Cass. Ross Lover and Jamie Wood scored for Cray in their 2-2 draw at Fleet Town while Rob Denness was on target for Chatham in their 1-1 draw with Kingstonian. Sittingbourne drew 2-2 at Tooting & Mitcham United with Steve Searle and Jon Neal on the scoresheet for Steve Lovell's men.
 
Bearsted caused an upset in the Kent Senior Trophy semi final after the Kent County League side defeated Kent League opponents Sevenoaks 5-1. Steve Smith with a hat-trick, Lee Radford and former Welling and Tonbridge midfielder Danny Lye scored for the winners while Aaron Smith scored for the losers. Whitstable were held to a 0-0 draw with West Wickham before defeating their Southern Amateur League opponents 6-5 on penalties.
 
Croydon mopved back into second place in the Kent League table after an own goal from defender Scott Edwards saw them beat Erith 1-0. Hythe moved into fourth place after they crushed bottom side Sporting Bengal 7-0 at Reachfields. Michael Smissen(3), Roy Godden(2), Ian Hayes and a Jason Brazier penalty all found the net for Paul Fisk's side. Beckenham had Wade Falana(2), Jones Awuah and Nick Curran on target as they won 4-1 at Deal. who replied through a Dave Bathgate penalty. Despite having Lee Morgan sent off,  home side Erith & Belvedere beat Herne Bay 2-1. Veteran Nigel Pointon gave Bay the lead before Adrian Deane and Tom Maycock secured the three points for the Deres. Lordswood beat Slade Green 2-1 thanks to goals from Gary East and former Sittingbourne midfielder Clint Gooding whilst Frank Sawyer scored for the Green.
