The Final of the Kent Senior Trophy (Sponsored by Lea-Ray Sports) for 2006/07 will be contested by Bearsted FC and Whitstable Town FC after both sides were successful in their respective Semi Finals on Saturday. The Final will take place on Sunday April 15th Kick Off 3:00pm at Dartford FC.

Kent Intermediate Cup…Quarter Final   VCD Athletic Res  0-0 Whitstable Town Res.. After Extra Time: 0-0 at ninety minutes Whitstable Town Res won 4-2 on penalties Our review begins at Honey Lane, as Bearsted, from the Kent County League Premier Division, defeated  Sevenoaks Town by five goals to one. After twenty minutes, the home side were three up, due to poor defending from the Kent League side, with a brace from Steve Smith and another from Lee Radford.

The visitors were then reduced to ten with a sending off and, shortly after the break, it then became four nil when Danny Lye scored. Arron Smith reduced the arrears before Steve Smith went onto complete his hat-trick, a notable victory and a place in the Final. At the Belmont, the Kent Football League Premier Division League leaders, Whitstable Town had a tough match as they entertained West Wickham, who play in the Southern Amateur League. After a goalless first ninety minutes, extra time was required but the deadlock remained and the tie was to be decided by the taking of penalty kicks. None of the 315 attendance left as the tension mounted and the result was decided when the Whitstable keeper, Kevin Fewell, saved a West Wickham spot kick to send the 'Oystermen' through six five. For Whitstable, the 2001 Kent Senior Trophy winners, the dream of the "treble" is still alive.
