Borough in the Nationwide Conference. Welling are the new leaders of Conference
South after goals from Steve Harper and Che Stadhart saw them win 2-1 at Sutton
United.
Bromley replaced Margate at the top of the Ryman
Premier Division as they beat Kent rivals Tonbridge 3-0. On target for Mark
Goldberg's side were Gareth Williams, Tutu Henriques and Nic McDonnell. Deposed
leaders Margate lost 3-2 at Hampton & Richmond Borough with Steve McKimm who
was also sent off along with Justin Skinner and Danny Hockton netting the goals.
Ramsgate had Stuart Vahid and Shaun Welford on the scoresheet in their 2-1 win
over Carshalton Athletic while Fol;kestone went down 1-0 at Staines
Town.
Ashford moved out of the Ryman Division 1
relegation zone after beating Metropolitan Police 2-1. Simon Glover and Walid
Matata secured the home sides sixth league win of the season. A second half goal
from Jamie Kempster saw Cray win the Kent derby 1-0 at Sittingbourne. Chatham
held Fleet Town to a 0-0 draw while a Jimmy Dryden goal earned Dover a 1-1 draw
with Whyteleafe. Dartford went down 3-2 at Horsham YMCA despite goals from Eddie
McClements and Steve Hafner. Mo Takaloo was on target for Maidstone as they lost
3-1 at Tooting & Mitcham United.
Whitstable are now ten points clear at the top of
the Kent League after goals from Marcos Perona and Andy Constable helped them to
a 2-0 win over Beckenham. Croydon had Nick Tornaritis(2) and Neil John on target
in their 3-1 win over Sevenoaks who replied through a James Dalton penalty.
Hythe moved into fourth place as goals from Jason Brazier(Pen), Lee Winfield and
Danny Pickering saw them overcome Slade Green 3-0. A hat-trick from Badar
Mohammed and a brace from Meshach Nugent saw Greenwich Borough defeat Erith 5-0.
Micky Collins(2), Steve White(2) and Adrian Deane were on the scoresheet as
Erith & Belvedere beat Sporting Bengal. Herne Bay won 2-0 at VCD with second
half goals from Sean Bremner and Aaron Firth.
