The Kent Football League Premier Division Fixtures this Saturday has seven matches of interest at both the top and bottom of the table. At the top, the League leaders, Whitstable Town, could open a ten point gap between themselves and the second placed Thamesmead Town, who without a game this weekend. The 'Oystermen' are playing hosts to Beckenham Town, last season's League Runners-Up, at the Belmont hoping to extend their unbeaten eighteen match run. When the two sides met at Eden Park Avenue, in mid October, honours were even as they drew three apiece. Third placed, Croydon will be looking to get back to winning ways after last week's loss to Thamesmead Town as they entertain Sevenoaks Town, who won their first game in five last week, at Albert Road. A win for the home side would see them within a point of Thamesmead with equal games played. VCD Athletic, with a few games in hand, will be hoping to carry their recent good 'Cup form' into their League campaign as they play Herne Bay at Oakwood. VCD have won their last three League outings whilst 'Bay' are a respectable eighth in the League. Hythe Town, unbeaten in their last three League outings, entertain Slade Green, who have two of their last three, at Reachfields. Greenwich Borough, who are sixth, play hosts to Erith Town, who moved off of the bottom last week, at Harrow Meadow in a local derby. 'Borough' will be looking to complete the 'double' over the 'Dockers' as they won by the odd goal in five in their previous meeting this season. Erith & Belvedere's home match with Sporting Bengal Utd, the bottom club, at Park View Road kicks off at 2.00pm. The 'Deres', with five wins from their last six matches, will be hoping for a repeat performance against their opponents who they defeated five nil earlier in the campaign at the Mile End Stadium. The match at the Culverden Stadium between Tunbridge Wells and Deal Town could be in some doubt as the pitch was snow covered during the week causing the postponement of their Premier Division Cup match. Should the game go ahead, a close match is forecast as earlier in the campaign the two sides drew two apiece at the Charles Sports Ground.
