Picture: Marc Seager: VIDEO: Whitstable Town manager Marc Seager after the 2nd 5-4 league victory over Deal, this was the third 5-4 game between the two side this season Whitstable also coming out on top by the same scoreline in the first round of the KENT SENIOR TROPHY. "I was lost for words in the changing room after the game, at times our attacking on a worsening pitch was superb, but as good as were going forward we got sloppy at the back and that I'm not pleased about." see more:
"Stuart King scored a great hat trick, Marlon Button started us off with a well taken goal and to be fair after Marlon scored I though we were in control, although I knew at some stage the pitch was bound to play a part and I was not surprised when Deal pulled one back with a penalty after 'Jacko' was adjudged to brought their man down. Stuart scored three really good goals with Jake Gess rounding things off; scoring our fifth in the dying seconds with a great finish. That said; it was real end-to-end stuff for 90 minutes and must have been a great game to watch despite it getting very cold and the pitch cutting up. I’m just glad that my young side has enough about them to dig deep in games like these and come away with a result, that puts us seven points clear at the top and Beckenham at The Belmont to look forward to this weekend." Not the best Video as the light was poor, Marc still gives a good interview: Look out for Video with Marlon and Stuart talking about the game...
