The Quarter Finals of the Kent Senior Trophy on Saturday saw two matches postponed due to the persistent rain, a shock at Corkscrew Hill and comfortable win for the Oystermen. We begin with the shock as West Wickham, from the Amateur League, defeated Hythe Town by four goals to progress into the Semi Finals. The sixth placed Kent Football League side were two down at half time with a brace from Marcus Elliott. In the second period, an Adam Wadey penalty and a late strike from James Owlett completed the scoring, their second win in the competition against a Kent League side as they beat Herne Bay in the Second Round. Their reward is a meeting, on Saturday March 3rd, in the Semi Finals with Whitstable Town who beat Tunbridge Wells at the Belmont by three goals to nil. After a goalless first period, Andy Constable netted a swift brace before Jake Gess scored the third eight minutes from time. The matches between Bearsted and Slade Green, and Sevenoaks Town against Beckenham Town were both postponed due to the weather. Bearsted will now host Slade Green next week at their Honey Lane Ground whilst Sevenoaks Town and Beckenham Town are scheduled to meet on Tuesday evening at Greatness Park.

PREMIER DIVISION REVIEW VCD Athletic moved into fourth place in the Kent Football League Premier Division with their sixth away win of the season as they beat Faversham Town at Salter's Lane by three goals to nil. First half goals from Lee Coburn and Danny Penney, netted within a minute of each other, set them on their way before Richard Sinden scored their third six minutes from time. The result saw VCD complete a League "double" over the 'Lilywhites'. After four successive wins, Erith & Belvedere were beaten by a last minute goal when they entertained Deal Town at Park View Road. Earlier Paul Gorman received his Manager of the Month Award for December but the late Jordan Barnett strike earned the Cinque Port side their third away success of the campaign.
