The home side were three nil up at half time with a brace from Richard Sinden and a Danny Penney strike before Ross Cable netted for the visitors ten minutes into the restart. In the Premier Division Cup, Herne Bay have qualified for the Quarter Finals as Group A winners when they defeated Slade Green three nil at Winch's Field. Sam Denly and Dave Soutan netted in the first half with Gary Cook scoring the third for their fourth consecutive win in the competition.
