Stuart Harrison says goodbye to the fans after his three years at Whitstable Town. ‘Harry’ or ‘H’ as he is affectionately know has signed for Lordswood and played his first match for them at the weekend, scoring in their 3-0 win against Sporting Bengal. He asked if the website would say a big thank you to everyone who has supported him over the years. ‘Harry’ said:

“I would just like to place on record, my thanks to all the ‘Oysterboys’ and ‘girls’ who have supported the team during my stay here at the Belmont.

I have really enjoyed my 3 years at the club and hope that I have entertained you all, in some small way, as that has always been my aim.

Even though at times I may seemed to have been the recipient of some ‘special’ cheering from the supporters, I do appreciate and understand that you all have a right to voice your opinions – and certainly no grudges have been held on my part.

I want to wish you all the best for the future and hope that success comes the way of WTFC – I know with Marc Seager at the helm, you have a great opportunity.

I am sad to leave Whitstable, but do so with good memories and look forward to what the future may bring.”
