This year marks the culmination of five years’ work to deliver the FA’s 2001-2006 Football Development Strategy. There have been some significant successes during this time but now is the time to look to how the FA continues to develop and improve standards in grassroots football. The FA’s new National Game strategy will cover every facet of the game beneath the Football League and will be launched in Spring 2007, running until 2012.
The FA is currently undertaking the biggest consultation in its history to get feedback from those involved in the game at different levels and in different roles. During the last fortnight there have been six regional consultation events, with three events each week.
