With the Kent Senior Trophy taking pride of place this weekend, the Kent Football League Premier Division programme has only two fixtures but they are two matches with plenty of interest.
The victorious teams from last week's F. A. Vase, Croydon and VCD Athletic meet at Albert Road and both are enjoying a good run of form with Croydon unbeaten in their last eight League outings. Meanwhile, VCD Athletic, the Kent Senior Trophy holders, are also in a "purple patch" and they will looking to close the gap to three points behind Thamesmead in second place. The second match, at Salter's Lane, will see Faversham Town host Deal Town, who will be looking to build on last week's big win against Sporting Bengal United. The 'Lilywhites' will be looking to end a poor run of form which has seen them dip to eighth place in the table. |
