| Kent League News...Tunbridge Wells kept up their hopes of progressing in the Kent Football League Premier Division Cup on Monday evening as they defeated Erith Town away by the odd goal in three in their Group D encounter. Luke Wallend and Joe Fuller were then on target for 'Wells' in the first period with Brian Hackett netting a penalty for the home side in between. The mathematics are easy, Tunbridge Wells need to beat Thamesmead in their final match and then hope that Beckenham Town can do them a favour when they also play the League leaders. In Division Two, Herne Bay moved up to seventh place with a win away to Tilbury, the score was 2-1 |
