Tuesday Evening NEWS from KL website Faversham Town missed the chance to top the Premier Division of the Kent Football League on Tuesday evening as they were defeated by three goals to nil at Hythe Town. All the goals came in the first period from John Walker, Roy Godden and Mike Smissen. Greenwich Borough have replaced Faversham in third place as they beat Sevenoaks Town at Harrow Meadow by the odd goal in five. Matt Fagan opened for the visitors on the stroke of half time before Meshach Nugent, with two, and Dave Hassett put the home side in front. Mike Cook scored a late consolation for Sevenoaks. At Park View Road, Erith & Belvedere were beaten by the odd goal in seven as they entertained Lordswood, who secured their first away win of the campaign. For the visitors, Gary East scored a hat-trick, for the 'Deres' the goals came from Ian Hilaire, Daryll Wilson and Leon Braithwaite. The late winner for the 'Lords' was scored by Dave Forster.
