ImageMid week football?   by Peter Albin  Whitstable Town play at Greenwich Borough tonight (Tuesday) in the Kent Football League Premier Division Cup (PDC). Currently second in Group C, Town will head the mini table if they win, Borough would take that second spot with the three points. Kick off at 7.45.     More PDC matches elsewhere this evening in Group A VCD Athletic play at Herne Bay and Hythe Town travel to Lordswood. Lords top the group on 4 points from two games, VCD and Hythe have yet to play and Bay are bottom, played one lost one. In the only group of 5 teams, Slade Green are second with a point.

More PDC on Wednesday night, of particular interest to Whitstable, Sporting Bengal United host Croydon in Group C. Croydon are the current leaders with four points from two matches. Kick off at 7.30. In group B Faversham Town play Deal Town at home. In the return fixture of the only match played in this group Deal will be looking to avenge the narrow 3-2 loss at Deal.

There are also a couple of matches in Group D, Thamesmead Town travel to Beckenham and Erith Town are away at Tunbridge Wells. These are the first games to be played in this group.
