ImageWhitstable set new Kent League record....as they go out to Margate at the Belmont losing 2-1 in the FA Cup after leading to a Jake Gess goal until the 80th minute. The gate scoring two in less than five minutes to take them into the next round.
  
Whitstable Town bowed out of the F. A. Cup against Margate in an excellent match that was a credit to Kent Football and the attendance of 1144 was the best for a Kent League club since the 1995/96 "title decider" between Furness and Dartford at Green Court Road.
