Whitstable Town chairman Tony Rouse is relishing the club?s next two cup games in an exciting seven day period for the club, writes Stephen McCartney.The North Kent coastal club, who have won their first three Kent League games, sitting behind Faversham Town and Beckenham Town in the table, travel to Sussex County League side Shoreham tomorrow in the first qualifying round of the FA Vase.

The Oystermen then travel to local rivals Faversham Town for a league clash next Wednesday, where a win could see them top the table, depending on how Beckenham Town fair at Lordswood tomorrow.

Whitstable Town then welcome Ryman League Division One South outfit Croydon Athletic to The Belmont on 16 September in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup.

Whitstable are one of two Kent League clubs ? the other being Martin Ford?s VCD Athletic ? left in the FA Cup.
