 Ken Gower WTFC U16?s manager:
Ken Gower has decided to step down after many years with the
youth, he finished with another successful year with theU16?s and the club
offers thanks for all the hard work he has put into WTFC. Greg Smith who you
will all know from his long association with us succeeds him as the U16?s
manager.
?If there is one thing I can look back on with tremendous
satisfaction during my time involved with the youth it?s the number of players
who started off in one of my junior sides who progressed to playing first team football.
The way the set up at the club is run the lads are able to progress through the
junior ranks to the U16?s then through onto the first team. I have been lucky
in as during my time I have coach some very good players, in fact far too many
to mention by name. I have always enjoyed my time working with the lads but due
to work commitments, I have just started my own local business, UC
Groundworks so I have decided to take a break. I will still be supporting the
club as I have always done so I shall still be around the Belmont.? said Gower:
